Legendary New York Times Columnist Announces Retirement

Legendary asshole and moron you mean.

After nearly 25 years as a New York Times Opinion columnist, Paul Krugman announced Friday that he plans to retire from the gig at the end of the year.

The American economist and Nobel laureate has been a fixture at the paper since his first column on Jan. 2, 2000, where he predicted the beginning of the “Second Global Economy” steered by American ideals and the promise of globalization.

Maybe he can replace Steven Colbert (anyone could....that moron isn't the least bit funny).

I was so saddened to hear about this...........................................................................

Last Friday’s op ed page in The New York Times offered readers a stark contrast between two leading economists: one with a quest to alert the public to the true state of government finances; the other with a growing reputation for intellectual dishonesty.

Guess who the intellectually dishonest one is ?

I'll give you a hint: His initials are Paul Krugman.

Thank you for reminding us of this.

If you have never read Thomas Sowell's book "Intellectuals and Society", I highly recommend it.

This guy is a perfect example of someone who got away with saying stupid shit for 25 years and was never really held accountable for it.
