Patrick Mahomes Wins The MUVP Award!

Taylor will be quite happy wth Kelce.

Trump jinxed it for the red team.
Well,.Taylor was booed mercilessly, perhaps her presence hurt K.C. The funny part was that the cameraman kept her on the jumbotron for a full 20 seconds to ensure the booing would get noticed. She was a.fixture on the screen for.such a.duration.of time that even she became aware of the unwanted response and had a confused look, probably wondering why she was being kept on the screen for so long to guarantee maximum impact of the booing. That's one diabolical cameraman.

I didn't really appreciate that either. I am no Taylor Swift fan--not even close--and okay her politics are annoying, but she didn't deserve that. I think we on the right sometimes need to revive some old fashioned courtesy. The Left sure isn't going to do that.

On the other hand the crowd cheering President Trump was most appropriate and welcome. We need a lot more of that.

Patrick Mahomes Wins the MOST UN-VALUABLE PLAYER in Superbowl LIX :laughing0301:

Poor poor Taylor! :crying:
we'll be back .. nobody ..not even Brady has won the in a row .. the Chiefs had problems akk yr with their O line and key players injured .. that will be corrected .. Reid and Mahomes have several more SB wins in their future ..

I have to say, before the game, press coverage was at least 80% all about the Chiefs.

I just checked now post game, and there is not one story even mentioning them.

It is like KC never even existed.
that's the way it goes .. they were the defending champs ! in fact 2 in a row ! only 4 teams have ever accomplished that ! there's a reason no team has ever won 3 SB in a row .. the Chief haters need to understand that the Chiefs will be back .. even though they had a good season they struggled in every game and won most of those extremely hard fought games by a hair .. their O line hasnt been very good this yr and they have a lot of injuries to key players .. they looked tired and worn out in the 1st quarter .. even though they won the AFC Hunt trophy they had to grind out nearly all of their wins that came down to the last few min of most of their games .. they had a winning season .. but a grueling injury prone season .. they will correct the problems with the O line and get some good players [like Rice] back ! don't be surprised if you see them dominating like the previous yrs again next season .. they won 17 games by one score or less this season ! I don't know if that's ever been done before ! ... man ! that's absolutely grueling mentally and physically on a team ..no excuses for my team ,but they looked tired tonight ..

I understand they did not kiss on the field. Maybe she is not really happy.

Hubby and I have been Dallas fans since the Tom Landry days. We don't stop being fans just because Dallas is having a really really REALLY bad patch lately. You cheer them on and encourage them that they can be great again.

All the years we lived in Kansas, we also became Chief's fans and never gave that up. Being in separate conferences, it was easy to support both. The only problem would be if they played each other in the Super Bowl. :)

So the Super Bowl was a huge disappointment for everybody's hopes that KC would break that three game barrier, but, alas, it was not to be. A sad for KC fans just because they want their team to win.

But the draft, spring training, rebuilding, regrouping is coming up fast. The Chiefs will rise again. (Maybe so will Dallas. :) )

Actually, haven't 8 teams won back to back SBs? The Steelers have done it twice.
  • Green Bay Packers: Super Bowls I and II

  • Miami Dolphins: Super Bowls VII and VIII

  • Pittsburgh Steelers: Super Bowls IX and X

  • Pittsburgh Steelers: Super Bowls XIII and XIV

  • San Francisco 49ers: Super Bowls XXIII and XXIV

  • Dallas Cowboys: Super Bowls XXVII and XXVIII

  • Denver Broncos: Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII

  • New England Patriots: Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX

  • Kansas City Chiefs: Super Bowls LVII and LVIII

Well, then maybe we should give him the Mr. Bill award :auiqs.jpg:

No doubt he said a few OH! NOOOS! last night.

I just heard that one of the dancers at halftime has also so pissed off the NFL that he has been BANNED from any NFL stadium game now for LIFE.

I predicted the winner would be the Eagles. I am not their fan. I am not a fan of Kansas City Chiefs or the Cowboys. I am loyal to the SF49ers who also had injury problems and never beat the Chiefs or Eagles. Why predict for the Eagles? Because the Chiefs were struggling to beat those they beat. The Eagles were scoring easier. But I did not announce my belief ahead of time nor put money on the game. Mahoney still is a talented QB and one can say that about the Eagles QB. I once represented a pro football player who then was playing for the Washington Redskins. They had been whipping other teams. The Oakland Raiders who lost me as a fan over them moving down to LA were a wild card team. And predictions were that they would get the shelacking of their lives from the Redskins. My client was a Linebacker and he looked real bad during the game. Marcus Allen had him for lunch and dinner and really ate his breakfast too. I asked Anthony why he got beat so bad. He said he played where the coach wanted him to and Allen took advantage of him. He really did not like even talking about that huge loss that Superbowl.
