Seriously, read about net neutrality. There's three reasons that conservatives were against it.
1. They're too stupid to understand what the hell it even means. See Ted Steven's (born 1923) a series of tubes comment.
2. They decided that corporation's needs are greater than the people's needs.
3. Most importantly, Obama supported it which made it bad.
Internet service providers should be considered utilities because they meet most criteria of it, specifically that physical cable and fiber is a natural monopoly. You know what isn't a natural monopoly? Servers.
