"...if your 13 and 14 year old children are attending Acalanes High School in Lafayette, California, they can learn all sorts of amazing things. For example, they are probably right up to date on the best water based lubricants for intercourse, the best way to beat a pesky, sexually transmitted infection, and the wide range of options they have regarding which gender they would like to be."

"...some parents are irate that their children’s sex ed class at Acalanes High School in Lafayette is being taught by employees of Planned Parenthood without their prior knowledge. They are also fuming over the methods and materials being used, including a checklist that asks students if they are “ready for sex” and another worksheet that describes how to give and obtain consent, as well as a diagram that uses a “genderbread” person for lessons in gender identity.
“[Parents] are very concerned,” Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, a non-profit legal organization that is assisting the concerned parents, told FoxNews.com. “Planned Parenthood is not exactly the best when it comes to putting young people first.

“They get more grants from the promiscuity of children,” he added. “The material they have provided was material that mirrored their agenda.”

Planned Parenthood, at it again. Grooming our kids for promising careers in prostitution and pornography.

It's what happens when you give liberals power over you. I hate to say it but the people deserve it. They need to wake up and throw the scumbags out of office and get some laws written that protects kids from the moral deviants.

Well, the parents could move their children to Texas, where sex-ed is not an issue and are just told that it's abstinence only and they have a high teen pregnancy and STD rate. In states like that, the kids:
1. Learn about sex from the parents. Of course, most conservative parents don't like to talk about sex with their children, beyond some basic coments like, boys have penises, girls have vaginas and if a boy sticks his into hers, she becomes pregnant and she is not a good girl, unless married.
2. Learn about sex via their friends (which is usually not particularly enlightening).
3. Learn about actual pregnancy by becoming a teen mother or teen father.
4. Get STD's.
We didn't have sex-ed in school and my parents were the "don't talk about it type" and I learned from friends, dates and raging hormones.....and, oh yeah....I got a young girl pregnant.
Not the way to go.
Giving young teens all the information needed to make informed decisions is the best way. My kid had sex-ed classes and I was glad for it. She's very much heterosexual and dated men only.
As for "choosing a gender," one doesn't choose a gender, one is either heterosexual, bisexual, or homosexual. You know what you are from an early age.
