It's so sad to hear about this devastation of the cows up there...and it will take years to replace them and get them up to age...beef prices may even rise due to this....

I think it has not been in the news with big exposure as it should be, is because the shutdown and debt limit negotiations and spatting have taken first spot with all the media....and we as a nation are in a pretty critical situation for our entire Nation (and my hard earned retirement funds I managed to save) if Congress Critters don't settle on something....


Any other time, this would be the leading HEADLINES.....

It's hard to even imagine 100,000 cows dying all at once from a freeze, and my heart also goes out towards the poor cows having to die such a slow and miserable death....just so so so sad....
