Obama flip-flopped when he started BP = Barack Petroleum drilling in the OCS.

Obama said he would not open off shore drilling & we would not get any oil from off shore drilling until 2017-2030. Not only did he lie but he was flat out wrong.

I can't blame Obama for being for off-shore drilling. All the propaganda by Big-Oil showed directional drilling and they actually had a decent track record lately. Then Deepwater Horizon happened, and BP fucked-over everyone. From what I hear from whistle-blowers BP cut too many corners. This is where the EPA and other agencies needed to be involved at all steps, and they were not. I blame Obama to the same extent that Bush and Cheney would have been excoriated by the MSM. I don't believe in double-standards.

Off-shore drilling CAN be done safely, as shown by the 36,000 wells already in the Gulf. We just need to hold the Big Oil companies accountable so that they don't cut any corners in the future.
