SUBTOPIC: What is Reasonable and How Does it Impact the ICC's Credibility?
𓅂. In My Opinion
⁜→ et al,
When does the credibility of the judges and the court's prosecutors come into question? That is the question that the International Criminal Court (ICC) will face as it plays politics in the proceedings now before it on the matter of the Act of War initiated by The Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) against the State of Israel (Israel). HAMAS initiated, on 7 October 2023, the war crimes of murder, cruel treatment, torture,; taking hostages; outrages upon personal dignity; rape, and other forms of sexual violence, committed on the territory of Israel. The ICC has pursued a course of action that has challenged the right and privilege of Israel in pursuing a course of action that would punish HAMAS for the actions the world has witnessed and the necessary action that would prevent HAMAS from reconstituting its terrorist organization such that it would present a future threat.
The ICC has cast HAMAS as the victim and Israel as the criminal as it pursued the designated terrorists to prevent further incursions into Israel and to follow HAMAS in hot pursuit to recover hostages and to destroy the contraband weapons HAMAS used to carry out the criminal terrorist activity.
This is a blatant case of misconduct by the ICC prosecutor and extremely poor judgment on the part of the individual judges and the court as a whole. The Prosecutor and the Judges have brought discredit upon themselves (individually supporting terrorists) and the institution of justice for which they purport to represent.
This demonstrates the inability of the ICC to distinguish between the terrorist (HAMAS) and the victim (ISRAEL) will eventually come back to haunt and discredit the ICC.
