Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif announced the start of open war against the Taliban government in Afghanistan. He stated, "The Taliban have turned Afghanistan into an Indian colony, gathered terrorists from all over the world, deprived their own people of basic human rights, and stripped women of their rights." It's worth noting that Afghanistan currently remains the only country in the world where girls over 12 are banned from studying, and universities are completely closed to women.

There are conflicting reports of casualties in the fighting. Pakistani media reports that 72 Afghan soldiers were killed and another 120 wounded in the attacks. Afghanistan, for its part, claims 55 Pakistani soldiers were killed in a border operation.
A Pakistani Air Force F-16 fighter jet was hit by a MANPADS. The Taliban is using suicide bombers to attack Pakistani checkpoints; one of them is shown in a video, but the moment of the explosion is edited out.

Reminds us of Vietnam and the Khmer Rouge.

Sounds like the beginning of a great test run for another later and scripted Deep State conflict .
Then we can have the big boys join in and get that War Cash flowing .
The big boys might need something fast as Russia is dictating matters in Ukey Land and the insane Israelis might have just realised what is facing them if they attack Tehran .

That only leaves the largely barren north east ( loads of minerals to scrap over) and some jolly good fresh wars in Africa .

Always smart to kick off a good scrap at the start of Spring .

The Taliban have launched an offensive on the Pakistani-Afghan border.

Following a Pakistani air strike, the Taliban have launched an offensive, with fighting erupting in the border districts of Kurram and Bajaur.

Local residents are fleeing their homes, fearing being caught in the crossfire. According to TOLOnews, the Taliban have captured eight Pakistani army posts.

The press service of the Afghan military corps in the east of the country stated in a statement that "heavy clashes" began late Thursday evening "in response to recent airstrikes by Pakistani forces in Nangarhar and Paktia provinces."

According to TOLOnews sources, both sides are using both light and heavy weapons.

KARACHI: Cross-border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan continued on Tuesday, with intermittent fighting reported along the frontier as Pakistani forces expanded aerial and ground operations under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said 464 Afghan Taliban personnel had been killed, over 665 injured, and 188 check-posts destroyed as of late afternoon, with multiple military installations targeted across Afghanistan.
Amid escalating violence, including strikes on Bagram and Khugyani bases and border skirmishes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the United Nations urged both sides to halt hostilities and warned of the growing risk to civilians and worsening humanitarian conditions in the border region.
Intermittent clashes were reported along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand district, where heavy firing and shelling continued at intervals since early hours.

UN calls for halt to clashes
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has reiterated its call for a halt in cross-border clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
“UNAMA also calls on all parties to comply with their obligations under international law, including international humanitarian law, and to ensure the protection of civilians,” it said in a press release issued in Kabul.

Commentary:
Wonder how many Pakistani’s fell victim to the weapons Biden abandoned during the withdrawal from Kabul and Bagram AFB?
The irony is that these people are killing each other most probably with American made arms.
Pakistan actively supported Islamic fundamentalist paramilitary armies in Afghanistan. They thought it gave them “strategic depth” (their buzzword, whatever it means) in their conflict with India. Now it has come back to haunt them. I’m betting that they will have border wars with Afghanistan for years to come.
This’ll be like watching the re-run of the Iran-Iraq war in the ‘80s - two vile adversaries at each others throats. Except one side has nukes.
