Let them demand. In DC at least, when the federal workforce is right sized and contractors are not renewed, there will be a lot of bodies chasing over openings, NOT the time to make demands. And workers demanding higher wages will be increasing...
Biden administration wasn't too Elon friendly, I doubt he's getting over.In order to show he's serious, Elon should focus on all of his govt contracts first and cut govt contract spending with himself....before cutting other govt.

Again you display the mentality of someone on an assembly line.Damn, you fed workers are dense. If they consistently finish their work in half a day, they do not have enough work. And the reason they do not have enough work is because the government has so many surplus employees that there isn’t enough work to go around.
And what makes it worse is that taxpayers are paying for all these surplus employees when we are running 2 trillions of dollars in the hole every year.
That’s coming to an end.
Oh please. If you have tons of Feds getting paid $100,000 for a full-time job that they all can do in five hours a day, YOU HAVE TOO MANY EMPLOYEES.Again you display the mentality of someone on an assembly line.
Employees making $100,000 plus have a job to do.
You evaluate them on how well they do that job, results…..not how many hours it takes them to do it
Try again....Biden administration wasn't too Elon friendly, I doubt he's getting over.
Show me,........Try again....![]()
In the private sector as well. And I will always stand with the workers over the filthy management.Let them demand. In DC at least, when the federal workforce is right sized and contractors are not renewed, there will be a lot of bodies chasing over openings, NOT the time to make demands.
10s of BILLIONS in tax dollars....And more.Show me,........![]()
You need to read your article.......its not cut and dried by any means, your article even states that.10s of BILLIONS in tax dollars....And more.
All this management style leads to is employees deliberately not doing as much as they could and milking the clockDamn, you fed workers are dense. If they consistently finish their work in half a day, they do not have enough work. And the reason they do not have enough work is because the government has so many surplus employees that there isn’t enough work to go around.
Since the Swamp aka the Deep State aka the Administrative State has become a clear and present danger to the Republic and is controlled by the Socialist Demon Rats their immediate reduction in size ought to be DOGE's priorityIn order to show he's serious, Elon should focus on all of his govt contracts first and cut govt contract spending with himself....before cutting other govt.

You're funny.....he isn't contracting with the government, they're contracting with him to provide goods and services in the interest of national security. In order to show he's serious, Elon should focus on all of his govt contracts first and cut govt contract spending with himself....before cutting other govt.
Well, both parties are entering into the contracts, so he is contracting with the gov't just like they are contracting with him. You're funny.....he isn't contracting with the government, they're contracting with him to provide goods and services in the interest of national security.
I agree with that assessment. I live right outside a major military base and the traffic of civilians to the base never dropped from before COVID to today. In fact, it's worse. If most units are not deployed, you cannot move in this town for several hours', morning and afternoon. A good percentage of the soldiers live on base.As a federal employee myself, I don't believe that. Only one person in our entire department works from home. Some people get to telework one day every other week, but that's it. In my previous federal job, which I left only nine months ago, telework was only authorized if the base had to close due to inclement weather, which was maybe three times per year.
Trump is doing away with the subsidies, which will make Tesla even more competitive. Musk has been quoted as saying that the other carmakers will lose market share to him if they do. In the latter case, he won't be getting money from the government but new customers.Well, both parties are entering into the contracts, so he is contracting with the gov't just like they are contracting with him.
EV subsidies absolutely helped Tesla sell cars. Musk is definitely the beneficiary of corporate welfare when it comes to Tesla.
SpaceX is way more efficient than NASA, and he has greatly reduced the cost to lift payloads into orbit, so that has saved a lot of taxpayer dollars.
Elon is very skilled when it comes to getting $$ from the Gov't one way or the other...
I hope he does that. If it makes Tesla more competitive that means people think it's a better car, and that's fine with me.Trump is doing away with the subsidies, which will make Tesla even more competitive. Musk has been quoted as saying that the other carmakers will lose market share to him if they do. In the latter case, he won't be getting money from the government but new customers.
I wonder how many of those people are federal employees and how many are contractors.I live right outside a major military base and the traffic of civilians to the base never dropped from before COVID to today.
From April 2018 to April 2022 I spent almost my entire time working from 15:30 to 00:00 sitting at a computer just like I am doing right now. From March 2020 to April 2022, I did it from home almost all of that time period. I visited our office occasionally after the pandemic wore down, but we never returned to the office full-time until I had retired.Employees love telework because they don’t have to commute 1-2 hours a day to work without pay. They also save on car expenses, train or bus fare, clothes, meals.
Employers are loving not having to provide office space and parking for thousands of employees
