Oregon firefighter teams arrive in Los Angeles to fight California wildfires
The Oregon State Fire Marshal called the deployment one of the state’s largest outside of Oregon.
If someone wants to volunteer and work pro bono for the good of humanity in fighting these fires in LA, they should definitely go for it.
However, if they are going there for renumeration, forget it.
When equally liberal New York state had the emergency during COVID and hundreds of nurses crossed the country to go to NY to help them out, they got royally screwed afterwards.
The state responded by literally crucifying them with income tax bills that they supposedly owed to NY for helping them out.
There is really no benefit to do this for cash.
Like I said , if someone has a soft heart for the suffering liberal elite in the Pacific Palisades, they should still definitely go. But do it out of the goodness of your heart, and don't let the California government know what your social security number is.
