I know that it is common practice to scream the sky is falling when ever someone that is not in your political party does something good, bad or indifferent. The thing that I see is we need to somehow get to a balanced budget. If that means less government workers. Less spending on two hundred dollar toilet seats so be it. We can not and should not be running Trillion dollar deficits every year.
My suggestion is if you really feel that the park service is being irreparably harmed by not having thousands of workers then setup a go fund me or similar site and when you can hire what you consider enough personnel give that money to the federal government to hire and maintain that level.
