Did the robbers who stole $1 million in prop money from a car in Newport, Oregon know the bills were valueless? Or have they been duped?

The way inflation is going, maybe they thought it would be worth more than the real stuff.
A million dollars? Oh good for them! Now they can go to the grocery store and get a steak for supper!

Lol!!

They won't have to put those bills up to the light!

No doubt some of the money WILL be successfully passed off to stupid cashiers.

I have a German Reichsbanknote printed July 25, 1923 in the amount of 1,000,000 marks. At that time it wouldn't even buy a weeks groceries. Welcome to inflation. We seem to be moving in that direction ourselves.
