Two injured in work accident at Gaza military base
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Two men sustained minor wounds after an explosion at a military training site in al-Maqusi neighborhood of western Gaza City on Monday afternoon.
Spokesman for the ambulance and emergency services of the Gaza Ministry of Interior Diyaa Addin Hussein said in a statement that ambulances evacuated two injured men to al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
He highlighted that fire broke after an explosion which was caused by a "work accident."
The statement did not mention whether the two were injured as a result of the explosion or the fire, nor did it mentioned whether they were militants or bystanders.
