GOP lawmaker: 'Many' mass shooters 'end up being Democrats'

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) said Wednesday that many mass shooters “end up being Democrats.”

Tenney made the claim in an interview with radio host Fred Dicker, exactly one week after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.

“Obviously there’s a lot of politics in it,” Tenney said. “And it’s interesting that so many of these people that commit the mass murders end up being Democrats, but the media doesn’t talk about that either.
”
Nikolas Cruz, 19, is accused of killing 17 students and staff members, and injuring 14 others in a shooting at a Florida high school last Wednesday.

WASHINGTON ― Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) claimed Wednesday that people who commit mass shootings are often Democrats.

The first-term Republican congresswoman made the comment at a discussion about last week’s Florida school shooting after criticizing the government for failing to act on several tips that might have prevented the deaths of 17 students and adults.

“It’s interesting that so many of these people that commit the mass murders end up being Democrats. But the media doesn’t talk about that either,” Tenney told WGDJ Talk1300 radio.

Although law enforcement officials said there were “no known ties” between Nikolas Cruz and a particular white supremacist group, the 19-year-old suspect in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre had repeatedly expressed racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic views in private group chats, CNN reported.

A spokeswoman for Tenney did not immediately return a request for comment on or evidence to back up the congresswoman’s claim about the political affiliations of mass shooters.

Snopes slyly sidestepped the facts by ignoring the core values of the shooters. I don't care that they can't be associated with the actual Democrat party, it's their liberal, leftist, or progressive belief structure that causes them to become murderers.

Pick any large metropolitan area in this country and closely inspect the moral values of the majority of people who rob, rape, sell drugs, prostitute themselves, steal cars, steal guns, commit burglaries, or commit murders: You would be hard-pressed to find a single conservative, Republican, or NRA member among the entire lot. Not all of them will be "registered" Democrats for one reason or another, but I can guarantee you that their core values and principles will be aligned with those beliefs which the Democrat Party espouses.
