Vets, Poor, unemployed, healthcare, minorities: who are they always fighting against?
I was watching Morning Joe and they were discussing the fight about putting the Veterans "cost of living" into the budget. Somehow, they skillfully managed to not say "Republicans" a single time.
In fact, when they (the mainstream media) talk about fighting for rights or help or support, they rarely mention Republicans.
Who blocked first responder health care for 10 years?
Who were the gays fighting against for rights and who are they still fighting?
Which party are Minorities fighting against?
Fighting for unemployment benefits, who are they fighting against?
Democrats trying to bring health care to millions of Americans. Who are they fighting against?
Now, let's ask, "Who are Republicans fighting to protect? Who is it they want to help?" After the deficit creating Bush tax cuts, the two unpaid for wars, the trillions lost in Iraq, the trillions it will cost to take care of tens of thousands of maimed veterans from Iraq and so on, they can't possibly be fighting for a real balanced budget. So who are they actually fighting for and against? Well, look at the previous part of the post, we know who they are fighting against, but who are the fighting "for"? By conveniently not reporting who Republicans are for and against, they are very well protected by the main stream media.
