One of the lies that trump keeps telling..

shutler! has repeatedly stated that America as spent 250 billion on aid to Ukraine. Also the side lie of that we have spent 200 billion more than Europe.

The facts.

How much has the US given to Ukraine?

Not even close.
I'm still laughing at the $50M in condoms that doubled to $100M (by Trump) and then Musk said it was a lie.

Trump lies. Musk lies. Fools believed them.

Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA)

The real facts.....

Or this one.

  • An $8 billion cut at Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The actual contract in question was worth $8 million. The mistake seemed to stem from an earlier, erroneous entry in a federal contracting database. But contracting experts said that the service should have known better: ICE’s entire budget is about $8 billion, making it implausible that one contract could be so large. The U.S. DOGE Service adjusted the figure on the site after The Times wrote about it, and said in a post on Mr. Musk’s X platform that it had “always used the correct $8M in its calculations.”

Or this one...

  • Three $655 million cuts at the U.S. Agency for International Development. This was actually a single cut that was erroneously counted three times, as first reported by CBS News. That mistake also seemed to reflect a misunderstanding of the way government contracts work; they sometimes have “ceiling values” far in excess of what will be spent. Experts said this cancellation was unlikely to produce anything close to $655 million in savings even once. Now, the site lists a much smaller savings for these three cancellations: $18 million in total.

Or this one...

  • A $232 million cut at the Social Security Administration. Here, Mr. Musk’s organization appeared to have mistakenly believed that the agency had canceled a huge information technology contract with the defense contracting giant Leidos. Instead, as reported by The Intercept, it had canceled only a tiny piece of it: a $560,000 project to let users mark their gender as “X.” The DOGE site now shows that small cut instead.

States have also contributed like California sending fire fighting equipment and medical supplies Arizona sent ambulances and construction equipment...
Zelenskyy is an idiot.... didn't even thank us.....
He has thanked us 100s of times fuckup.

He isn’t going to personally thank you as you oppose aid to his country.

The largest savings on the latest version of its list is a $1.9 billion cut at the Treasury Department. But The Times reported last week that this contract was canceled last fall, when Joseph R. Biden Jr. was president — and when DOGE did not yet exist.

Not even close.
Today in the Presence of Zelensky and in the presence of Macron two days ? before, the Felon constantly stated US$ 350Billion
Whilst EVERYBODY (not MAGA retards) knows that the USA spend US$ 120 Billion. In direct military and economic aid.

The remaining US$ 60 billion (aka total US$ 180 Billion) is money that the US Congress allocated in contract value to the US MIC.
And Ukraine is obligated to pay back these US$ 60 Billion - upon receiving these weapon-systems - which so far they haven't received. That is why Germany and IIRC Holland jumped in 2 month ago - supplying Ukraine with additional Patriot systems and ammo.

How long do we want this war to last? At this rate, we'll be tied up with this for several more years. Then only way to end it is deterrence. Supply ukraine with nukes, to be a deterrent against Russia, and call it a day.

That should solve the problem.

If the USA would still stand to it's commitment from 1949 - to GUARANTEE the nuclear umbrella for Europe (NATO) we wouldn't even have this discussion with Putin - since his REMAINING mediocre conventional forces cant change the fact of his Army stuck in Ukraine.

Simply the US stating, that upon Russia attacking Ukraine - Ukraine will automatically become a NATO member would deter Putin from any further ambition towards Ukraine. As simple as that - FACT.

They need to do something. We're 36T in debt, spending money on a prolonged war is not what we need, and not something we can afford.

Give them nukes or make them nato...but another 3 to 5 years of supporting a war is not what we need. The goal of war should be to end war, not feed it..

No, neither Europe nor the USA want another nuclear wielding state around.
No - making Ukraine presently a NATO member will IMO cause Putin to lob some tactical nukes onto Ukraine.

Simply stating that Ukraine will automatically become a NATO member if.... - factually doesn't cost anything.

As a side note - refraining from the 2nd Iraq war and Afghanistan - not to mention Trumps additional 7 Trillion debt in his first stint and the US state debt would "only" have been around US$ 18 Trillion, when Biden took over in 2021.

Not even close.
Trump will of course continue to tell this lie.

And Trump’s equally dishonest and reprehensible supporters will defend his lies.

Well, we can't just prolong the war by endlessly feeding them cash and weapons
