I'll put it to you plain. People scared of Musk and Trump should realize that if the government had not pushed the public this far, had not abused its power, had not vilified common people because of their viewpoints, had not resorted to violence, riots, or intimidation tactics, had not resorted to destroying the livelihoods of people that they disagreed with--- they would not be where they are. People would not have been compelled to vote for the opposite 'extreme.' One side got too extreme for the public to tolerate. The pendulum swung. The people who voted for the left's brand shouldn't be blaming others for the fear they feel. So despite what experts and pundits tell you, elections have consequences. Your fear is one of them.
One extreme begets another.
I agree. But unlike you, I think this was by design.
On the important issues, they're pretty much the same.
The baton gets passed back and forth, but overall the direction stays the same.
