I think Putin and Trump are writing the script for One Big Beautiful Peace Agreement. After conducting a nuclear standoff*, both men will save the world by negotiating a peace treaty that will demilitarize both Ukraine and Kaliningrad. That way, they can share a Nobel Peace Prize and secure their legacies. President Xi better get in on the act with Taiwan if he wants to share the glory.

* As in 1962, when both Khruschev and JFK played their brinkmanship roles as cover for their agreement to remove nuclear missiles from Cuba and Turkey.
