We find those online commercials to be something we would be interested in ordering, but before we do, we would like to know if anyone here has tried those steaks, etc., and has an opinion on the taste and quality according to them. If so, would you ever order from them again? Their reviews sound positive but the company may not be printing many negative ones. :eusa_think:

So, dear member, in your opinion, would my butcher cut filet or bacon wrapped filet be tender and delicious, medium rare and how about the porterhouse, cooked medium rare? And those burgers? Anyone try the lobster with the filet? Yum. That is what I want. Can you recommend it? He wants the porterhouse.

Again, if price is no object, are Omaha Steaks tender and delicious? As advertised. 🥩

I've had them a few times and also sent them as gifts to my parents. We enjoyed them. There are similar companies out there also.

I have a buddy that buys meat like that. He ordered from them once, and never did again. He does butcher box or something to that effect. He loves it. Rich bastard lol.

A good friend ordered some many years ago and my personal opinion was that the steaks were very small and overpriced. As I recall, the flavor and tenderness was average. I was not impressed and I would never purchase them.

I calculated the Deluxe Sirloin Pack and it worked out to $17.35 a pound. I'm Canadian so I don't know if that's considered expensive in the U.S.

We ordered some Omaha steaks a few years ago. We found them to be small and mediocre at best. We never ordered them again.

A lot of a good steak is how you cook it.
 
15th post
The fillets are a 5oz steak, small. That's just the right size for me and my bride.
Keeps us honest. As far as flavor, I BBQ them and throw in some apple wood for flavoring.
The chops are 5oz also, not too much flavor but with a sauce, who cares, right?
Stay away from the chicken, eat cardboard instead. Definitely overpriced, but
the portion control is wonderful.

I know the sirloin tips suck.

My mom had a box in the freezer when she passed. I tried one and ended-up feeding them to the possum.
