Here's a fun dual-life heist story about an Olympian athlete who teeters on becoming a dancing thief and was inspired by the film Thief (Michael Mann). Thanks for reading,

Isaac was a renowned Indonesian men's Olympics badminton champion, having already obtained 1 Gold Medal and seeking another one at the next Summer Games held in and hosted by the Germany city of Frankfurt. Isaac wanted the extra badminton medal but now had another ambition in mind --- to rob a bank for $20 million diamonds. In fact, this diamond-heist became more of a priority to Isaac than the Olympics medal in badminton. Which priority would proved to be more damned for Isaac? He was feeling both charming and pensive as the Games approached in Frankfurt!

Isaac knew that badminton had been his whole life since he was a youngster. He was so good at it! He'd grown up in Indonesia excelling in the sport. He'd become a natural at it and made it to the Indonesian Olympic squad when he turned 24 and won the Gold Medal as a young phenom for Indonesia. He then began reading crime comics and became obsessed with crime stories. He decided he was more interested in bank robbery and heists and the skill and art of theft than in the beautiful and elegant sport of badminton that made him so darn famous on the world stage!

Isaac decided to rob a very impressive Frankfurt bank while in the German city during the Summer Games when he turned 28. This would be the very last time this champion Indonesian badmintoner was seeking a sports medal, and this would be the only time such a fantastic diamond-heist would be attempted by a trained and pensive thief. Isaac was, however, masked and ready for the summer diamond-heist which would make him $20 million wealthier if not more famous!

Isaac walked into the tower bank in Frankfurt on a Saturday morning in a strange clown makeup plastic mask and wearing work-gloves and carrying a toy plastic gun filled with a concealed inner-tube containing corrosive HCL acid. He told the guard at the front entrance that the gun which shot acid would corrode anyone and through any material and requested immediately to be escorted to the vault-room containing the diamonds in the bank. The guard was horrified and obeyed the daring thief inside the Frankfurt bank tower!

Isaac saw that the vault-room door led to an inner sitting room where wealthy financiers would supervise and survey the very valuable and impressive diamonds held inside the impressive Frankfurt bank/tower. Isaac walked into the sitting-room behind the vault-door with his hostage/guard as well as a bank executive and opened a diamond box and began surveying what he wanted to lift. This was a very warm experience, but Isaac now had only 5 more minutes to choose his diamonds and exit the tower!

ISAAC: "I've chosen a handful of diamonds and placed them in a silk-purse to be placed into the hidden lining sleeve of my jacket. I'll remove my mask and walk out the bank and disappear into the crowd. I now have $20 million worth in Frankfurt diamonds in my jacket-pocket. Wow!"

Isaac sold the diamonds in the German black market and used half the money to fund a wild vacation in Germany while there with the Indonesian national team representing the strong men's badminton team. He met a gorgeous young German woman and began a wild and loving affair with her, and all this distracted him from his badminton, leading him to only earn a Bronze Medal this year. However, the woman he met reminded Isaac he'd always be more of a diamond-thief than an Olympian-dog!

What would you choose if you had the skills and imagination of a man like Isaac? Would you opt to be a badminton champion for your country on the world stage, or would you seek the spoils and dangers of an immaculate diamond-heist at a very impressive bank tower in a dioramic place such as Europe? What would you choose?

ISAAC: "I'm off on a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Sydney, and I realize that what I learned is that skill is always modified by humbled human design."
