Okay, so - your vote. Best voice, ever.

List your top 5, top 10, top 25 - whatever you have time for and feel like. Obviously, Rolling Stone dropped the ball.

My list would look like.

1) Freddie Mercury 1) Robert Plant 1) Axl Rose 1) Annie Lennox 1) Pink 1) Christina Aguilerra, etc.

I'll try again in a bit.

But my #1, #1 stands. Freddie Mercury.

I'll run with Freddie. And I'm hard pressed from rock and roll. Oh crap I'm on my knees here.

You have to remember the Strawbs and the chick from Curved Air was insane. Then you have Steve from Humble Pie.

I'm going to stroke out if I try to pick one,

Freddie when he sang the lead song for Highlander. Want to live forever. omg. that's my mercury. damn he nailed that.

Sugarland - Stay - YouTube

Do you know what happens when you play a country song in reverse?

You get your truck, and dog back. . .

I've always loved Gloria Estefan's voice but I can't say she's the best ever.

Steve Perry
Patsy Cline
Rascal Flats
Tim McGraw
Usher
Santana

I always liked this song by Tim McGraw and Nelly:

I'm actually amazed that no one had brought up Steve Perry. Thank you Sarah.

I'm on the fly and maybe I missed it, but did anyone bring up K.D. Lang or Bonnie Raitt?

I hear Constant Craving and I'm down for the count. I go into mershville. Same with I can't make you love me by Bonnie.

Oh and Steve Winwood. Mr. Clean I think it was earlier in the thread put up Ronnie Spector and Grace Slick. I had the pleasure and honor of working with both those women. Total powerhouses.

And a disclaimer. When I do bring up who I worked with it's not a brag on. I had the priviledge sp? of stepping into arenas with amazing talent. I've been blessed.

First time I ever heard it I had to hold myself. It was real personal. She had the perfect voice at the perfect time with a perfect song.

You have a point...

He's a real voice(s)....

I have to be picky here because BD has OP'd voices.

Not tunes. Her thread. Her rules.

But sometimes a tune rules a voice. And will bring you to your knees.

Try this one. Gonna run to you by Bryan Adams. You guys know I'm in Flintsone land so I'll try to give you the video.

Jim Croce
Pat Benatar
Eddie Vedder
Vince Gill
Adele

2nd pick

Don Henley
Stevie Nicks
Gary Allan
Faith Hill
Tim McGraw

Joni Mitchell

Court and Spark

Can anyone get a you tube up from Help me I think I'm falling? This old box is running at 28 now and I can't pull up anything.

I assume she must have a video out there.

Joni's voice is like a fine wine. That's the only way I can describe it.
