Ohtani closing in on the unthinkable 50-50 season!

I did not follow the Ohtani gambling story much, but this was my take. Perhaps the agent found it easier to rip off Ohtani because he's is a Jap who had/had limited English skill.

They are both Japanese, it seems that Ohtani just trusted him and didn't pay too close of attention to his accounts.

He's definitely a once in a generation player.

His fan base here in Southern California is off the charts.

Maybe once in a lifetime. I've never seen anyone like him in 50 years of watching MLB.

He did it! Absolutely amazing, when Canseco crossed 40-40 back in the day that was jaw dropping. This is true baseball history congrats to Shohei!
