Some of what you say is true. It also proves Trump doesn't know shit or even as much as you.
"I think Bill Clinton was a great president,’" Trump said in the interview that was conducted shortly after the 2008 presidential election on NY1's "Inside City Hall" program.
"You know, you look at the country then. The economy was doing great. Look at what happened during the Clinton years. I mean we had no war, the economy was doing great, everybody was happy. A lot of people hated him because they were jealous as hell,’" Trump said.
I've been saying for years the beginning of the end for the middle class started on Reagan's watch with his policies and continues to this day. So that's true during the Clinton and Obama years too. But the difference is, Michigan wasn't struggling on their watches. We saved enough to retire. They added jobs every month. Sure half the Obama years sucked but he was getting us out of the GREAT RECESSION. Worst recession since the Great Depression. Don't downplay it.
Notice how Trump tries to be different than traditional Republicans? Why is that? You must know. It's because deep down, you know their policies don't work for you. That's why he says things they would never say like cap credit card interest at 10%. No Republican has ever said that. Do you agree with doing that?
And it was always unions/liberals who said tariff imports. Suddenly Trump wants to tariff imports. Do you agree with him? I do. I just don't think he's serious. He's a liar who's great at running for president. He knows what to say. Build a wall. Cut your taxes. Lower costs. I'm for clean air and water. Illegals are eating your pets. LOL. He has the concepts of a healthcare plan.
