1. Start with a bottle of the crappiest rotgut you have on hand. I happen to prefer Fleischmann's or Mr. Boston vodka.

2. Turn on your television and change the channel to CNN/MSNBC/FOX/etc.

3. Every time you hear the word "Bellwether" or "Referendum", drink a 1-ounce shot.

4. Have a friend or loved one hold your head up while you puke in the commode .
