I'm perplexed here. How could anyone living in a state surrounded on three sides by water not learn how to swim?
"TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - On Thursday, the Tallahassee Police Department identified 19-year-old Octavious McCaine as the suspect connected to the stabbings in Cascades Park that left the capital city rattled.
Police say they received a call when McCaine left home around 5:30 p.m. in an “agitated state” and that he “may become violent if approached.”
Law enforcement began searching locations McCaine was known to frequent.
A few hours later, police say two women were stabbed in Cascades Park.
The women were taken to the hospital, where they are said to be “stable.” TPD says they are both expected to survive their injuries.
After stabbing the two women, the suspect ran toward a fenced retaining wall, according to police, and jumped into a pond.
The Leon County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team recovered a body, identified as McCaine."
