McConnell controls the senate. He and the GOP get to make the rules for the trial just like the democrats got to make the rules for the inquiry. The only one who is entitled to a fair trial in America is the ACCUSED. Thats the way our justice system works. It isn’t set up to make a trial fair for an accuser because that’s called TYRANNY. You’re innocent until proven guilty in this country and the burden of proof falls on the accuser. All Nancy has to do is send the articles over and let the senate do its job. If the senate dismisses due to lack of evidence, that’s their prerogative. The same would be said for any other criminal trial where a jury doesnt recognize any evidence to convict. Not sending them has to do with McConnell, telling everyone watching FOX News that he had no intention of honoring his impeachment OATH, would not be impartial, and is working hand in hand with the defendant's lawyers, the President' s lawyers, to deliver an acquittal.
Try to concentrate. The act of trying to extort Zelensky in to announcing Ukraine was investigating Biden for Don's personal political gain in and of itself is an abuse of presidential power. Got it?
