He appeared nervous, and then he even went as far as admitting that they had made mistakes, but then he blames it on listening to the lawyers, and/or white house council. He was trying to run through everything that he thinks Trump is going to change, so he wanted to suggest that these things will not be so easy to change, and especially after all that his administration had done to put them in motion or to suggest that the deals had been sealed. The people elected Trump to change things (many things), and if he caves it won't be good.
