Most of us know a great deal more about Obama than Putin. Both would like to rule by decree, but only Putin does. I do not like Obama, but agree with him on far more than I do his Russian counterpart, however Putin comes off as a far more decisive and competent leader.
My feeling is that if these to stand face-to-face, Obama will blink first despite being more powerful. The situation in the Ukraine may well bear that out.
