The racial hatred and bigotry is all yours. Richard Nixon worked with Congress to spearhead the Civil Rights Act of 1957, sweeping legislation and a precursor to the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965.

He also signed the Voting Rights Act of 1970, nationalizing the 1965 legislation and expanding its reach to northern states.

Had it not been for Republicans, there would have not been the Civil Rights Act, as it was widely fought against by you Democrats.
