Ahh is he mad ?

White House hits TV networks for skipping immigration address

The White House is exasperated with the major broadcast networks – ABC, CBS and NBC -- for skipping out on President Barack Obama’s Thursday primetime address on his executive actions on immigration.
“In 2006, Bush gave a 17 minute speech that was televised by all three networks that was about deploying 6000 national guard troops to the border. Obama is making a 10 minute speech that will have a vastly greater impact on the issue. And none of the networks are doing it. We can’t believe they were aggrieved that we announced this on Facebook,” a senior administration official told POLITICO.
When the president wants to make a primetime address, White House officials will reach out to the big networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS, to gauge whether they would consider running the speech live before putting in a formal request for airtime.
But on Wednesday morning, with plans underway for a Thursday night address on Obama’s plans to issue executive actions on some of the most sweeping immigration reform in decades, those feelers came back with a negative report. None of the major networks wanted to take time away from their primetime programming for Obama’s 8p.m. speech. So the administration did not send out a formal request to the networks and took to Facebook to publicize the speech with a special video message from Obama along with a link to the livestream.

Poor baby.

Even they realize he's further dividing the country.

This is calculated. That less mainstream middle American workers know how he is giving it to them up the arse, the better the administration will be. The MSM networks have always protected his butt. The only folks that will get the news are the ones that favor the policy. The ones that don't like the news won't be bothered with it.

It is faux indignation. Secretly, I am sure he is pleased as punch they aren't covering his betrayal of America.

Exactly on point!
The networks know that by exposing BOBO's lawless attempt to get more DEM votes too many viewers are going to ask: "What a minute! Our son can't get enough hours working at Wendy's now. What's it going to be like to have another five million illiterates competing for his job at Wendy's?
The people are not stupid.
You can bet that if what BOBO is doing was popular with the average citizen the networks would be running the speech 24/7 for a week.

I agree that they are protecting The Fragile One. They know the majority of Americans do NOT support amnesty, and giving it massive coverage would ignite a lot of debate and response, and give the Republican opposition a lot of support for not funding what he wants to do.

Maybe the networks think their fiction is better than his fiction.

Trying to hold onto relevance is a tough one

Good....
This guy can't go 48 hrs without giving some sort of speech and having cameras on him.
This demand for attention is above and beyond....

I follow Cory Booker on twitter and Cory is threating to break Obama's record.

Maybe it's a black thing?

Anyway I will probably ignore Obama's nonsense tonight and read about it tomorrow.

I see some good points here....
Maybe the media is trying to save Obama from himself.
Better to keep the low information voter in the dark.
Because even they will give Obama shit on this.

This is hilarious! Officials sounding like cry babies deprived of a lollipop.
But that's quite indicative of the situation: even major TV channels are not afraid to show their real attitude towards the president...

I don't agree with you that Obama doesn't want the exposure.
This nacistic prick wants the limelight, and wants the opportunity to add his personal emotions to the words.
He will try to emotionally connect with as many Americans as possible, and wants to be able to smooth over the stark reality that he's really talking about an amnesty.
I truly believe he wants every form of media all over this tonight.

Obama is pissed that since he now is declaring himself Emperor the world
needs to treat him as Emperor.

Obama should watch it later on MSNBC 11 PM
That way they can splain it to him just what he said.
Or have his Chief personal advisor Al Sharpton hop on Air Force One and drop by the WH.
I'm sure Al still gets a kick out of doing that.
