We don't need to be in Korea, our job is done in Afghanistan after the much-delayed death of Osama bin Laden, and we can withdrawal from Europe too, decades after the USSR finally closed shop for good. Why we're policing the world is beyond me. We should have learned the lesson in Vietnam & Iraq: They don't want us there, regardless of our good intentions. We should be spending money on social programs instead, like birth control, public schools and mass transport, like the Europeans do.

Bush is to blame for us having gone into Afghanistan in the way we did. All hamhanded, clodhopping around the world, like fat white trash GOP tourists at Epcot Center thinking they're in "Europe". Bush could have at least finished the job before attacking Iraq despite Iraq being innocent of 9/11, empty of WMD, and not wanting democracy at gunpoint. But noooooooooooo. Instead, he oafed it up for another term, justifiably losing his Congressional rubber stamp in 2006, then slinking back to Texas in 2008, in total, deserved, disgrace. Obama finally finished the job of getting OBL in 2011, and got us out of Iraq.
