But the recent round of conversations, which took place over the phone and in person over the last two months, came as lines of communication between the U.S. and Iran, through intermediaries in Europe and elsewhere, deteriorated."​

If one person is free to roam where ever, so is another and I don't hate anyone. I was only pointing out what happens to those who only aid and harbor our enemies and the reason why Obama has what you call a good standing is because he lets people lead him around by the nose while our current leader actually knows how to get up off his behind and fight for whatever he believes was ripped away from our homeland. All this talk about our leaders looking behind them, when you really think about it, that is what they all have to look forward to when becoming our leader at all because no matter what move it is that they make, someone is going to be ticked off at them, therefore, the big question, who would they rather have for an enemy, those who they are supposed to be in charge of which is us who are here in the states or everyone else? Now all Trump had to do was announce pulling out of Syria and Turkey, which is an ally of Iran. Are they negotiating? Or doing what we all know, telling Iran that Trump will be gone in Jan 2001, and a rational person will then occupy the White House and diplomacy will replace Brinkmanship and bellicose rhetoric they now see from Trump's speeches and tweets.

But that's the headline, that's the slant of the winger websites' stories, so the Trumpsters suck it up like pablum. The story has clearly been significantly distorted to rile up the troops. This is what happens when you obediently look at "articles" from winger sites like "Zero Hedge" and "Federalist Papers" as "sources".
