I have an idea, if you wanna impose gun control you have to first demonstrate you don't own a gun, or employ anyone who has a gun to protect you.

Too many pundits speaking on gun control either own them theselves, or employ security personnel who do. If you don't want law abidding citizens to own weapons like guns fine. But you don't get to have them either, nor anyone protecting you with them.

Youngsters in the service are taught how to properly carry use, and care for their weapons and while on duty are under the supervision of superiors. That may not be the case in civilian life, particularly the supervision part.

I did not read Obama's comments relative to limiting gun ownership for 21year olds but I assume the age relates to the fact that the shooter at the church was only 21. Maybe he is
implying that older people would the judgment to not do such things.

I think in the case of the church shooter the young man had some serious mental issues which included a disposition to harm other people. The sad part about this tragedy was that the blacks were in church behaving themselves rather than being out on the street raising hell in the night hours like they did in Baltimore. And I am betting these church goers were
of a more mature crowd than we see rioting and looting and raising hell. Being white and
young, he must have stood out like a back house in a fog.
