it was doing that for the 33 years i worked there....but only for certain types.....i dont buy the story that they take a picture of every letter.....if that was true the times when the Inspectors asked someone to hold someones mail the Supervisor would not have to take a picture of the letters.....they go through those machines to fast for a picture and there is way to much mail flying through those machines....
