Sad to see professional sports killing themselves.

My late hubby and I loved MLB for staying out of politics until opening day of 2020, when the Mariners chalked "BLM" on the mound. I haven't watched a single MLB game since then.

Have attended a couple of the local farm team games since then, as well as Little league games in my tiny home town, where they have never displayed politics and have always displayed pride in America and God and family.

Will we ever get real sports back?

It's dying.

One of the stores where I grocery shop is an organic co-op in an urban neighborhood, with a lot of leftist-looking customers. Last year, they hung a huge "pride" flag over a produce display right inside the entrance for the month of June. I didn't shop there in June.

This year, they have a display of multicolored crepe paper fringe like this in the same place.

Pandering is costing them revenue and they know it.

I also shop at two stores who do not pander politically, and they're both rocking with customers.
