Nuts are a Major Protein Source for Me

Drenched in salt and sugar, they likely do more harm than good.
They bring in the White-Tails, then the Frito brand corn chips take over & keep them anchored to me until I can eventually gain their trust enough to get them to follow me to the shop where the pears/apples(assorted fruits) & OATS then become their supplemental diet. I am familiar with with the carbohydrate starch problem(acidosis) with their rumen/overall digestive tract so strictly limit feed like corn, barley & wheat(high carbs) & avoid other problems(enterotoxemia) by not over feeding them.

Do you have high cholesterol? Then you need the Brazil nut
I buy a pound at Whole Foods and that lasts a long time. I usually include 3-4 a day but that may be overdoing it. And, yeah, I include them because they're the best source of natural selenium available.

3-4 is 1000% of the daily allowance, I heard a doctor say that is enough for a week, I eat 2 every other day.

Good nuts seem harder and harder to come by. Diamond makes a good variety product with five types: almond, hazel, brazil, walnut, and pecan. Brazil is just about my favorite, but that is really hard to come by. I go to one grocery store and get macadamia. It's already shelled, but that is still okay. Throughout the year, I usually just go with peanuts because I'm not ordering online. When I am feeling ambitious, I get cashews.

You have to be careful with everything that is mass produced these days, not sure if Diamond has an organic version but you want to get organic if possible, I always buy mine in bulk at a health food store, where you put them in the bag and they have a scale at the register.

Also, be wary of any "organic" nuts and fruits from overseas. Krogers and another producer (forget the name) have obviously fake organic blueberries for sale, probably the same with nuts. Try and find domestic organic.
