A group of Pennsylvania nuns is fighting back after a conservative voter organizer publicly accused them on social media of falsifying their voter records to help fraudulently swing the presidential election in the Democrats’ favor.

The Benedictine Sisters of Erie said Wednesday that they are considering legal counsel after dozens of nuns were accused of falsely identifying the monastery as their legal residence in their voter registrations when it is, in fact, where they live.

To be unjustly accused of voter fraud is just really disgusting, ugly,” Sister Stephanie Schmidt, the prioress, told The Washington Post of the allegations made on X by Cliff Maloney, who founded the conservative group PA Chase.

Can you describe these nuns?
Do they look anything like these thugs?

The nuns are not official members of the democrat party

Right?

The person in the story who questioned the address is an individual not an official of the GOP

Pretty dumb to go after nuns who are most likely staunch pro-life advocates.

Can they show damages? You can’t just sue people because they say things, unless what they say caused damages

No, this group of nuns are pro abortion and far left on other issues

I wonder if they all share her views.

Still dumb to go after nuns- Obama was pilloried over the Little Sisters of the Poor business.

Ought to realize, nuns are off-limits...

But they are also anti adultery and anti stealing from charity. And I'm pretty sure they frown on decades of criminal fraud.
I do not doubt they frown on all those things.

But in the grand scheme of things, for Catholic nuns, the sanctity of life is way up the list for the vast majority of them.

True. They often think condoms are worse than AIDS.
Bottom line is, if you go after nuns, you are going to get your ass handed to you.

The optics will never be in your favor, it doesn't matter what they did or didn't do...

It takes some real stones to go after Nuns, Benedictine Nuns at that. One of most conservative orders in Roman Church.

All those so-called "Christians" really know how fuck the duck.
So now the atheists are all cozy with nuns and Catholics. They despised nuns until---------wait for it--------------Trump!

In principle I agree, but in practice, going after nuns is a losing proposition. Little Sisters of the Poor is a good example...
