The average rate of firearm murders committed with rifles after the assault weapons ban was statistically significantly less than the rate during the ban at the 0.0001 percent level for a two-tailed t-test. There was no statistically significant difference in rates before the ban compared to the assault weapon ban period.

There are similar drops over time if one looks at the share of total murders committed with rifles.

I have an AR-556 (NATO version), but it's hard to conceal. Perfect for a mass murder with the 30 round magazines. For a regular murder, my Colt 45 ACP with hollow points, would make you wish you would've been shot with the AR.

How about the far more powerful M-1A in 7.62mmx51 or the FN/FAL firing the same NATO 7.62mmx51 round? How about the IMI Galil that can fire either the 5.56mm, 7.62x51 or .30 Caliber Carbine rounds? All six can use "high capacity" magazines ranging from twenty rounds for the M-1A to fifty rounds for the Galil.

Less recoil so better follow shots (in theory) plus it's more likely to not be fatal unless well placed. So their thought process is it takes two people out of action; the guy shot and his buddy helping him. Of course their logic is as fucked up as your logic.

In WWII the standard round was 30 06. Which is effectively a 308 magnum. I prefer the 308 over the 556. You should probably stick to wrist rockets with avocado pits.
