The chart is somewhat wrong. Those nukes are not all ready for use. It is correct that Russia has more nukes than the US does but the number of US nukes actually ready to be fired at any time is a bit higher than the Russian number.

This has been known for years they are a major nuclear energy source nation as well. They are now expanding into specializing in mini nuclear power reactors too as I recall (Ontario is also a major nuclear energy jurisdiction).
