The NRA is making sure that we don't slide down a slippery slope and that people do not have unnecessary roadblocks placed against them if they exercise their constitutional rights. The current laws are already very restrictive. Here in Mercer County, PA, a license to conceal carry costs $20 and must be renewed every 5 years. Can you imagine the uproar if the county required that to vote? Isn't this a read hinderance to the law abiding poor who live in the most dangerous areas and need firearms more than any one.?

The amount of gun violence is the job of the police to handle, not the NRA. The NRA is a civil rights group protecting one of our basic rights.

For what its worth, the NRA is against illegal use of firearms, including the slaughter of innocents, and its members agree. There is yet to be a mass shooting of innocents committed by NRA members.
