I was sitting at my favourite café yesterday with a friend of mine. After a while some guy came along who knows him. He sat down with us. The guy seemed a bit tense on the subject of people, in general, but particularly about the physical vs. mental cause of all the world’s problems. I thought well OK he’s interested in philosophy and he’s got some ideas that he’s either made up on his own or maybe something he read that impressed him. No problem (so far) so I gave him my reasoning for disagreeing with certain aspects of his argument. But it was when my friend had to go home and left me alone with this guy that things started to get really weird. He told me (“as a fact”) that all Jews are minions of a superior sort of Jewish population who aren’t really Jews at all. Huh? He said they have no blood and they don’t procreate in the normal sense but only use human females to somehow arrange their DNA in order to increase their own population. According to him, it is through those non-beings that the Jews rule the world. I listened intently to try to understand what he was telling me but I was also thinking about the best way to get away from him. I was worried that his head would spontaneously combust or that he would suddenly evaporate in front of my eyes. I finally said that I had an urgent errand to make and I dashed away, leaving him alone. Is there anyone here who knows what he was talking about? Is it a thing? I hope I never see him again but is there an established conspiracy theory about what he was telling me?

I would never have engaged with him and cut him short...lets not go there.

Or...I would have got up and left as soon as started being off the wall.

Hey I gotta go...I think my house is on fire but it has good meeting you.

People like that talk the same BS whenever they get a safe audience.

The reason he spoke so strangely is because he is a classic schizophrenic, perhaps even not officially diagnosed and thus not on medications.
I'm not trying to be insulting, just pointing out the most likely reason why he believes what he does.
If you had pressed him as to where he heard the things he was saying, the most likely response would be that God told him this, or entities that talk to him from time to time, as schizophrenia most generally manifests itself in the form of auditory hallucinations. A less likely scenario but possible is that he read it or heard it by some conspiracy talk group and is gullible enough to believe it.

I think you are completely correct. What did surpise me is that when I gave my reasons for disagreeing with individual points he didn't even try to debate it with me. He just silently listened to me and made no comment but just went on to his next point.

Well, you have to start with, "is this a logical and reasonable argument?" If someone walked up to you and told you that the sun is going to flame out tomorrow would you deem them sensible? Perhaps he had an agenda or something he was desperately eager to share which is why he wasnt interested in your argument he sinply wanted to share his own new and exciting secret information he learned about on the internet. This doesnt mean he has a clinical disorder, he could just be really easily manipulated, impressionable etc. I view conspiracy theorists, Bigfoot chasers and believers of the Loch Ness monster as such people. Clearly he hasn't applied a minimum amount of logic if he believes such ridiculous, antisemetic fables.

First the "Jewish Space Lasers", then the Jews living in NYC tunnels, and now this?

Maybe the guy you were talking to was another victim of the secret mind-control ray gun Mossad has been working on.

It's just best to back away slowly when you meet one of those people. :laughing0301:

The British conspiracy theorist David Icke doesn't appear to be anti-Semitic, but he does say that a quasi-reptilian alien or extra-dimensional race has procreated with humans because they can't exist here without doing so. Their hybrid offspring has essentially been the global ruling class of many cultures for many millennia, according to him. But he doesn't claim that Jews are the only humans involved in this or anything like that.

David Icke. The word "icke" in Scandinavian languages means "no" or "non". I've seen a couple of his videos but it was a long time ago. I don't remember if I blocked him from You Tube or if he's been banned. He said that all humans are implanted with some sort of alien devise and if we we put our mobile telephone up to our neck and look into a mirror we will see a kind of glow that proves it.

Further discomfort.

*** I met my friend again yesterday. His wife was with him. I told him about my chat with that guy the other day. I was expecting “yikes!” or something like that. But as I related the encounter my friend showed little emotion. Neither did his wife. So, I had to ask him if he believes that stuff. Again, I expected him to say “heavens no!” but he didn’t. He told me that he doesn’t discount anything. I looked at his wife and asked her the same question but she pretty much said the same thing. Anyway, he sent me a Wikipedia link and here is a small excerpt from it:

“The reptilian conspiracy theory alleges that shape-shifting reptilian aliens control Earth. Belief in reptilian humanoids can sometimes be traced to anti-Semitic texts. In one recent example, the perpetrator of the 2020 Nashville bombing subscribed to reptilian conspiracy theories that were influenced by the writings of David Icke, who was in turn influenced by the 1903 anti-Semitic fabricated text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

My main worry now is if my friend is grappling with the question of the meaning of life (and its origins) or is he so anti-Jew that he is willing to consider anything that demonizes them? :dunno:

Yes, as soon as I was certain of his convictions I began plotting my escape. I did actually leave him in mid-sentence (feigning a spitting kidney). You would have been proud of me. :)

I think you're right.

The connection with David Icke, the reptilians, AND anti-Jewish sentiments is in the quote I provided in post #13 although it doesn't really single the point out against him nor does he (as you say) "claim that Jews are the only humans involved".
