Nolte: USC Poll Counts Shy Voters and Donald Trump Wins

I am so depressed that those hypocritical Dems (like the Speaker of the House) are going to win BIG tomorrow.

So, of course, I am encouraged by the info in the OP.

But -- like it or not -- the polls are probably right this time.

The Donald is going to be soundly defeated tomorrow.

Sadly, the American electorate is going to reward the violence-abetting Dems.

They will come to regret their decision to vote Dem.

As the saying goes, "Hell is realizing the truth too late."

There's not much worse than a fake news loser and baby-killing socialist who actually thinks he's funny.

Democrats are the party of infanticide, socialism, government control, smashing Free Speech rights, giving free stuff to illegal aliens, and now they are the party of mobs in the streets burning and destroying cities. See the burning cities and torn down statues, and you see the democrat party world. Mobs.

Republicans are the party of Traditional Values, Liberty and freedom. Donald Trump gave us the lowest unemployment rates since John F Kennedy until the virus hit, and now Democrats are trying to keep the virus going because they are so evil they are happy to destroy the economy simply to defeat Trump. That’s right. Masks and continued shutdowns are a joke, based totally on fear. There is a 0.04 death rate for Corona. People have more chance of dying from the Flu.

A totalitarian socialist state of mobs is what the Democrats offer, and liberty and freedom and jobs-not-mobs is what Trump offers.

Always lie to The DemTard Pollsters who call you.

Because Dems run their entire platform on UN Mandates and Polls, and Focus Groups.

There's nothing "shy" about Trumpers

They're the most loud and obnoxious people I have ever seen

They sure didn't look shy when they shut down the Mario Cuomo Bridge, The Garden State Parkway , or attacked that Biden bus in Texas yesterday

"Shy" voters doesn't refer to the base, dipstick. It's referring to average Americans who don't want to get screamed at or punched in the face by rabid leftists. I mean duh

I have been looking for this story because I heard about it on the radio. I finally found a version of it. Its about Trump voters not telling the truth to pollsters out of fear of backlash and violence from Democrat thugs and Antifa.

Nolte: USC Poll Counts Shy Voters and Donald Trump Wins

USC Dornlife published a poll Monday that shows President Trump could upset the world again next week.
USC’s normal, tracking poll shows Biden up nationally 53 to 43 percent, a full ten points

Something USC Dornlife was curious about, though, were those shy Trump voters who either lie to pollsters out of contempt for the establishment media or due to a legitimate fear of expressing a preference for Trump in a country where you can lose your job, have your property vandalized, or find yourself physically assaulted for doing so.

To break through and past what USC describes as the “social desirability” question, the pollster asked respondents “Do you think your friends and neighbors are voting for Trump?” instead of “Do you support Trump?”

This is called the “social circle question” and in five different elections over the past few years (including the 2016 presidential election), USC found that this question resulted in a more accurate poll once the final results were known: [emphasis mine]

n all five of the elections in which we tested this question, the social circle question predicted election outcomes better than traditional questions about voters’ own intentions. These five elections were the 2016 U.S. Presidential election, the 2017 French Presidential election, the 2017 Dutch Parliamentary election, the 2018 Swedish Parliamentary election, and the 2018 U.S. election for House of Representatives.
[…]
In fact, data from the social-circle question in 2016 accurately predicted which candidate won each state, so it predicted Trump’s electoral college victory
Using this same method today, USC says “it’s looking like an Electoral College loss for Biden” — with Trump only down by four or five points nationally.

And the truth is Trump could lose the popular vote by four or five points and still squeak out an electoral college victory.

This is not the first study or survey to show there’s a real possibility pollsters are missing a sizable chunk of the Trump coalition, what the president calls his “silent majority.”

Trump cannot lose by 5 and exzpect to win the EC. Clinton won the popular vote by 2.1 and Trump won by around 70,000 votes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
He already won Florida. This is why you Dem Tards are already talking about Trump declaring victory too early.

The "shy Trump voter" theory reminds me of the Unskewed Polls experiment in 2012 which turned out to be a total folly.

Florida Democrats Panic as Election Day Approaches: ‘We’ve Got to Stop the Bleeding’

Democrats are expressing unease as the election enters its final stretch, acknowledging that progressives are not seeing sufficient voter turnout in Florida’s Miami-Dade — the county in which Democrats need a strong showing to flip the state blue — particularly among young, minority voters.

Statewide, Republicans have outpaced their opposition in early voting, holding a 474,229 early voter advantage and narrowing the Democrats’ overall lead (which they hold because of a sizeable increase in absentee voting) to less than 164,000 on Friday. As of Thursday, 53 percent of Democrat voters had turned out to vote in the crucial blue county compared to the 59 percent turnout for Republicans. The six-point lead is “twice the margin Republicans had at this point in 2016,” according to Politico.

So you think Trump is going lose also, right?

Uh...no.

According to figures posted Monday morning by the Florida Division of Elections, just over 100,000 Democratic votes were processed Sunday, the final day of early voting in Florida.
Florida Republicans, meanwhile, cast about 88,000 ballots.
That disparity helped Democrats build their advantage in ballots cast in the state up to 108,143 heading into Election Day, although those numbers will fluctuate as elections officials continue to receive and process mail ballots on Monday.
Through Sunday evening, 8.974 million ballots had been cast early and by mail in Florida, nearly matching the entire 9.5 million votes cast in the 2016 presidential election.

Of those votes, 39% were cast by Democrats, 38% by Republicans, and 21.5% by independent voters unaffiliated with either party. The remainder were cast by voters affiliated with minor political parties.
