You SHOULD give a peace prize to someone like that.

Here's what I personally wrote at another space: Changing the name of Department of War to Department of Defense was deceptive. For it doesn't matter whether we are just "defending" ourselves or not. Any time we mobilize our forces, we will be engaging in a war. Calling it "Department of Defense" is a ploy to manipulate the public's perception about the coming bloodshed and deaths.
