Well, honestly, I personally dont think he should get it for one simple reason. I dont agree you should ask..or demand it be given to you. Thats just petty and childish. If someone nominates him and he gets it, thats fine, but hes been really outspoken that he thinks he deserves it and has said he should get it multiple times. To me, thats just wrong. It should go to someone humble, to the person who least expects it, who has done great things.

The Nobel committee has destroyed their credibility. They refused to give Trump any acknowledgement for all of the peace he has brought around the world.

Obama was given a Nobel Prize for giving speeches, but they look the other way when Donald Trump has ended wars all over the planet.

Democrats timed all of their belly-aching over health care to coincide with the Nobel Committee's announcement. They undercut Trump when he was trying to end the war in Ukraine, and now they're trying to undercut his peace deal in Gaza.

Three observations and personal opinions:

1) The Nobel Committee made a joke of its peace prize when they gave it to Barack Obama as a DEI award.

2) It is possible that if the cease-fire and beginning of the withdrawal had been two weeks earlier, Trump would have had more of a chance to win it.

3) Trump really shouldn't talk about winning the Nobel, if he wants to win it and thinks he has a real chance. It would only provoke them to show their independence by not giving it to him.

IMO Trump should have totally ignored them. Not giving them even one ounce of acknowledgement. Show with action how little he thinks of the prize and how much he disdains the committee. This would make them even more irrelevant than they already are.
