No Yakitori For You!

It's like a Seinfeld episode! Must be good if they can turn away customers.
Eat off skewer or no shiskabob for you!
Seriously though, I can see where it would be an insult to all the work they put in on it.

I paid for it….I decide how to eat it

I commit a similar atrocity with at-home tacos.

I find eating the stuff out of those crunchy envelopes to be messy and a distraction. So I load the stuff up on my plate crush a few taco shells over them, mix it up and eat it as a "Mexican stew." Much more gooder IMO, but the wife considers is disrespectful to Mexican culture.

I do that in a big bowl with a big spoon like a Philistine.

It's their restaurant. They decide what to ban you over.

In Japan some food is created artistically. It's art. If you disrespect it by not consuming it the way it was intended to be consumed then I could see why the creator could be frustrated at the wasted effort.

Be respectful or go eat at a bar.

You are responsible for the food up until it leaves the kitchen
Once it reaches the table, the diner decides how to eat it

Pass the ketchup

Why not just have a soft taco?

When I was in Japan, it was considered a faux pas to remove the yakitori from the skewers. A lot of chefs have a style how they load up the skewer, and the presentation is important.

It's like picking apart your sushi roll at the table, it's crass.

The chef cares about the way you experience their food. They make something masterfully and want you to understand the intent. That's passion.

Patrons are still entitled to their own tastes no matter how crass they are.
Prime steak cooked well done and smothered in ketchup
Food heavily salted or smothered in hot sauce
Loading up on sugar.
I eat sushi with my fingers

The customer is the one eating it……not the chef

Yet, when somebody paints rainbow stripes on a road, we're not supposed to spin out on them?

Nobody is obligated to feed you just because you're willing to pay. Lol As the restaurant in question has shown us.

Thankfully, restaurants reserve the right to refuse service to low-class hillbillies like you.

He's from Jersey
They ruin every culinary experience in nyc

They should be outright banned from any Michelin starred restaurants so the human beings can enjoy their meals 😜
