My sister-in-law (the one I don't talk to now because she and her husband have gone full MAGA and love them some police brutality) didn't even know the Holocaust was a thing because her HS didn't cover it.

I used to be, that's how I learned about socialism, then I started studying national socialism and Italian and Spanish fascism, and came to the conclusion, that the best form of socialism, is the one opposed to Marxism. WW2 in Europe was essentially a war between Marxist socialism, led mostly by Jewish liberals and atheists, vs socially conservative, national socialists. It was a war between socialists. Seven out of ten Germans were fighting in the Soviet Union, not against the US and UK. Hitler didn't want to fight the UK or the US, he considered them Germanic Ayrian people—potential allies. He saw Jewish communism and power, the greatest threat to Germany and the whole world.
