Instead of saying she was going to dig up examples that the reporters would ignore, she should put together a lengthy clip of Trump being called racist, Nazi, Hitler, etc. Then at the start of the next presser, she starts to play it, pauses, and asks for a show of hands "who knows that Trump has been called racist over and over?"

Then, "I see a few hands are not up, let's hear some more" press play

"Now who knows that Trump has been called a racist over and over?"

Repeat as needed, to include answering zero questions if there is one holdout.

Then the next day only invite reporters who know that Donald Trump has been called a racist.

Trump is not Hitler and he is not a Nazi. He never has been.

Trump is a profoundly damaged child and malignant narcissist (grandiosity, cruelty, exploitation, lack of empathy, aggressive exploitation) whose abject desperation for acceptance and validation has led him into a group of people who fit the description of neofascists, craven sycophants and traditional useful idiots. Enablers of the worst kind. And great power. The perfect storm.

The result has been a long and ongoing string of individual words, decisions and actions that are clearly historically authoritarian in nature. Both the actions and the mindless, fawning behaviors of the useful idiots draw a clear parallel to Europe of the 1930's. There is simply no way to know, in this moment, whether today's useful idiots understand/recognize this or not.

Despite the obvious historical parallels, Trump is not ideological like Hitler or Mussolini. He is simply profoundly needy and will attach himself to any group who will provide him with the emotional and psychological nutrition for which he is so desperate. He would have been a LEFT wing catastrophe if that's where he had found the acceptance and adoration he so badly needs.
