Yes......anti gun extremists need dead kids from guns......they are the single best tool they have for pushing their anti gun agenda.....

That is why they fight gun safety programs and free gun lock programs.

Groups deliver 28,000 signatures protesting grant for pro-gun safety project

A collection of 22 anti-gun groups are delivering signatures Thursday calling for a two-year $2.4 million federal grant to fund a free gun lock program be canceled.

The grant, awarded by the Justice Department in September, is to fund firearm safety education messaging and free gun locks through National Shooting Sports Foundation’s long-running Project ChildSafe program to communities throughout the country. Key tenets of the program, started in 1997, include responsible firearm storage to help reduce firearm accidents, theft and misuse.

However, an alliance of gun control organizations to include the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, Stop Handgun Violence, MomsRising and the Newtown Action Alliance feel the money could be better spent by programs they advocate rather than by the NSSF, which is the trade association for the gun industry.

What is it the lefties always say "If it will only save one life." Except..".if it will only save one life from a child killed accidentally by a gun...then we don't want it....we need the dead kid for the cameras...."

If the anti-gun movement really cared about the issue they would call for the resignation and possible indictment of every ATF and FBI agent who participated in operation Fast /Furious where the Feds sold 3,000 illegal weapons to Mexican drug cartels. For some perspective a U.S. Veteran was arrested and incarcerated in a Mexican prison for just the possession of just two freaking illegal weapons. One of the Fast/Furious weapons turned up in the murder of a Border Patrol Officer and still there was no outrage from the anti-gun crowd. The A.G. was held in contempt of congress for the first time in history for refusing to cooperate with the investigation and the president cited "executive privilege" and still no outrage.
