The UN should realize that they need us more than we need them.
And why's that? The US needs the UN so it can try and legitimize its wars.
China is working hard to get the UN to do its bidding too.
the US provides the largest amount of $$$ to the UN --that's why
we could save mucho tax $$$ by not giving them any--this would
help the US
we should stop a lot of this giving $$ away that are WASTED anyway!!!!!!!
..most of our military action is for self defense/ reaction to other countries attacks
PG1 and the continuation of that in PG2
Afghnaistan
Beirut and Balkans we were ASKED to help
Grenada
killing Osama
Korea
..South Vietnamese government wanted our help -President Thieu was practically begging Nixon to keep troops there..sure some did not want us, but it's not like we invaded it per the Colonial powers in the 19th century
most--if not all--are not invasions to take territory/take over a country/etc
And why do you think the US has provided the greatest amount of cash to the UN?
Could it be that the US demands the UN does its bidding?
And yes, the US will save money not paying for the UN. But sometimes you need to spend money to make money.
Look at the UK and Brexit. Since Brexit they've lost about 12-15% on the value of the pound. All their exports have been reduced. They're selling MORE and making LESS money. They've lost far more money than they claimed they'd save by leaving the EU and they haven't even left yet.
What do you think the US will lose?
The Marshall Plan. How much money do you think the US made out of giving money to different countries? A shit load.
But if you want to do primary school math and pretend it all adds up when you don't understand the difficult stuff, go ahead.
No, most US action is not self defense or being provoked by other countries.
Afghanistan did NOT attack the US.
Iraq did NOT attack the US.
Yemen did NOT attack the US.
Somalia did NOT attack the US.
Saudi Arabia, now there's a case that they DID attack the US on 9/11 and what? Oh, the US sends president after ******* whore of president over their to kiss their dirty asses and sell them weapons.
Wow.
Being asked for help is one thing. But giving it requires something.
Do you know the Powell Doctrine? It's rather new, doesn't include Vietnam, for example. But it does include Afghanistan and Iraq and Yemen, and Somalia and things like that.
Go look it up. The US doesn't fight for good any more. It fights for US INTERESTS ONLY.
But you can pretend the US is good, somehow if you like.
