Look at Relativity, first proposed in 1905 and STILL subject to rigorous and ruthless testing. Michio Kaku observed that if Relativity failed even one experiment, one data point, the Theory would have to be discarded and replaced!
Though it's passed all prior challenges, no one calls Relativity "settled science"; no one calls people "deniers" for questioning or testing aspect of it
